We are Martin Sikma and Pleun Bonekamp and love to travel to remote places where the animals still roam the lands undisturbed.

We’ve always had great respect for nature and wildlife, and our love for documenting this through photography started during our five week offroad trip to Madagascar in 2017. During the years that followed, photography became more and more part of our lives and has brought us to all 7 continents.

We travel full-time in our self-converted Land Rover Defender expedition camper, which has brought us all over Europe and North- and Central America since 2023. We hold a doctoral degree (PhD) in climatology (Pleun) and meteorology (Martin), which knowledge has opened our eyes to the sad natural destruction we see along the way.
